Death, divorce, coping with illness, caregiving, parenting issues, career change – these primary experiences of loss and change – bring to us grief, fear, confusion, sadness, guilt and sometimes mixed feelings.  Having a companion to walk through this time can be comforting, strengthening, and clarifying.

As a psychotherapist with a background in end-of-life care, grief and loss, my role is to help you navigate this time of your life and find your own meaning.  Viktor Frankl, a psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor is a great influence on my approach – he said that human beings are meaning-makers. And I’ve found that to be true.

We cannot avoid pain, loss and grief, but we can choose how we continue with our lives and I believe that choice is absolutely individual.  I am here to help you work through your loss and help you as you create a meaningful life.
